William Robert "Rob" Medsker

William Robert “Rob” Medsker, 48, of Graham, MO went to be with the Lord, March 20,2018 near Graham, MO.

Rob was born November 14, 1969 in Maryville, MO. His parents are William “Bill” Medsker of Graham, MO and Charlotte Sollars of St. Joseph, MO. They survive of their homes. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Walt and Ruth Moore, his paternal grandparents Homer and Lois Medsker, cousins Ross and Kyle Medsker and numerous great aunts and uncles.

Rob was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Institute of the Deaf in St. Louis, MO, where he played basketball and soccer. He graduated from Nodaway-Holt High School. He earned an associates degree in agriculture from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, IA.

He was a farmer and truly loved his occupation.

He always wore a seed cap. He enjoyed joking and pulling “gags” on his friends. His cell phone was always in his pocket. He was a meat and potatoes man, he didn’t eat vegetables. He very much liked chocolate desserts. He loved his dogs but he wouldn’t admit it. He flew many miles between Kansas City and St. Louis and would get off the plane with pockets full of peanuts. He liked water sports, pick-up trucks, drones and model air planes.

He is survived by his father Bill, his mother Charlotte and friend Larry Schrick, brother Doug and friend Angela Farrell, his uncle Max (Janet) Medsker, Graham, MO, aunt Beverly (Jon) Burmeister, Harlan, IA, cousins Ryan Medsker and Seth Burmeister.

Funeral services for Rob Medsker will be held Friday, March 23, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home in Maryville.

The family will meet with friends Thursday, March 22, 2018 also at the funeral home from 6:00 till 8:00 PM.

Burial will be at the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, MO.

Memorials may be given to the Union Church in Graham, MO, the Nodaway- Holt High School FFA Chapter, Graham, MO,or the St. Joseph School for the Deaf, in St. Louis, MO, 1300 Strassner Drive, Brentwood, MO 63144.
