William P. Liebing

Mr. William Liebing, 75, of Maryville, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 16, 2017, at his home in Maryville.

William was born on January 5, 1942, in New York City, NY.  His parents were Johannes Gottfried “Fred” and Evelyn (Neron) Liebing.  They preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his sister, Barbara Bily, and his brother Fred J. Liebing.  He had been a resident of Maryville since 2004, and had formerly lived in Long Island, NY.

William was educated at Andrew Jackson High School, Queens NY.

He was a retail employee for many years prior to retiring in 2003.

His survivors include his brother, Robert (Linda) Liebing, Claremont, CA; his 2 nephews, Brian (Kim) Bily; and Eric Alexander Liebing, Portland, OR; great nieces and nephews, Bryant, Julia, Colin, and Kathryn Bily, his sister in law, Margot Liebing, and many friends.

He will be remembered as a kind man who was an avid reader and enjoyed the company of the many friends he made while living in Maryville.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, both of Maryville.

The family will meet friends for one prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Services are under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.
