Vernon Dale Mcmichael

Vernon Dale McMichael, 81, Maryville, MO, passed from this life on Friday, September 18, 2020, at the Maryville Living Center.

Vernon was born on January 26, 1939, in Maryville, to Vernon and Etta (Parkhurst) McMichael, and they preceded him in death.  He was also preceded by his brother Donnie, and his sister Lois Sulwold.  He had lived east of Guilford, MO, before moving to Maryville.

Vernon’s pride and joy was his bicycle, and he rode it every day.  On his rides he would often stop by to visit and have coffee with Rex Wallace at his office.  Vernon liked listening to country music, and he enjoyed summertime and family visits and reunions.

He married Margaret J. (Jo) and she survives of Maryville.

Other survivors include his siblings, Francis (Sue) McMichael, Maryville, Joyce (Carroll) Akes, Bedford, IA, Carol (Don) Smith, Auburn, NE, Martha Brand, Kansas City, MO, Allen McMichael, Auburn, NE, and Dean (Joyce) McMichael, Brockwell, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vernon Dale has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

Memorial graveside services will be at later date at the Green Ridge Cemetery, Gentry, MO.
