Thomas W. Merrigan

Thomas William (Tom) Merrigan, 68, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, in Maryville, Missouri. 

Born in Rockville Centre, New York, Tom was raised in Garden City, New York and Belle Mead, New Jersey. He was a 1978 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and retained a lifelong affinity for the study of arts and sciences. After graduation, Tom worked internationally and domestically in service as a teacher, Catholic Worker, and nurse, before moving to Maryville in 2010. 

Tom is survived by his sister Kate and brother Bill, as well as his children Sarah, Eileen, William, and Joseph. 

He was pre-deceased by his father William, mother Cathaleen (Crooks), brother Pat, and sister Peggy. 

Per Tom’s request, no memorial service will be held. Care was entrusted to the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.
