Steven Burl Hutchison

Steven B. Hutchison, 68, of Elmo, MO passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at his home in Elmo.

Steven was born on October 29, 1949 in Red Oak, Iowa. His parents were Don and Cleta (Shaffer) Hutchison. He was preceded in death by his father.

Steve graduated from Corning Community High School, after graduation he attended NWMSU in Maryville, and later Gavilan College in Gilroy, CA.

He worked for the Pepsi-Cola Co. and also Hy-Vee, Jack and Jill Grocery Store, worked construction, and laid carpeting. He was employed for over 20 years and retired from Kawasaki Manufacturing, Maryville.

Steven married Anita Jo Smith on December 4, 1983 in Elmo, MO. His wife passed away in February of 2008.

His survivors include his mother of Maryville, MO. Three children, Sean (Jessica) Hutchison of Elmo, Carrisa Hutchison of Kansas City, MO, and Lee (Danelle) Hutchison, also of Kansas City, MO. A brother Ray Hutchison of Los Angeles, California., as well as 9 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a sister-law.

He has been cremated under the direction of Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home of Maryville.

A private celebration of Steven’s life will be held on August 26 ^th , 2017 at his residence.
