Sandra Kay Murphy, 67, of Barnard, Missouri, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at her home with family at her side.
Sandra was born in Maryville, Missouri, on November 15, 1956, her parents were John Samuel and Wilma Deon (Davidson) Schneider. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her brother, John Schneider, and her nephew, Jesse Rodriquez.
She graduated from S. Nodaway High School and had lived all her life in the area.
On November 22, 1974, at the First United Methodist Church in Maryville, she was united in marriage to Robert Wiley “Bob” Murphy.
Sandra worked for several years for Bud Bliley, at Bud’s Tavern in Conception Junction, Missouri. Then owned and operated Murphy’s Law Bar in Barnard.
She liked to cook and shop and spending time with her family. She enjoyed visiting casinos, General Hospital and The Price is Right on TV, and loved her granddaughter very much.
She leaves behind her husband, Bob of the home. Her son, Nathan Murphy, St. Joseph, 2 sisters, Nancy (Ron) Redmond, Stanberry, and Rena (Charlie) Puckett, Barnard, her granddaughter, Macey Murphy, St. Joseph, and many nieces and nephews.
Sandra has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville. Missouri,
Private family services will be conducted at a later date. No formal visitation is planned.
Memorials are suggested in Sandra’s name to Mosaic Hospice, Maryville.
