Ronald Dean Sheridan, 85, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on April 5, 2025, in his home with his family by his side.

Ron was born July 16, 1939, in Quitman, Missouri, to James E. and Catharine Holt Sheridan, both of Missouri. He attended Shell Grove Country School and Quitman School, graduating in 1957.

After graduation, Ron joined the United States Army. He served for twenty years in military intelligence, including time in Vietnam and many tours overseas including in Germany, Okinawa, and Japan. He later served for twelve years in the Federal Civil Service.

Ron was a member of the American Legion Post 100 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 442, both of Maryville, Missouri, as well as the United Methodist Church in Quitman, Missouri; he enjoyed gardening, dancing, and music.

Ron is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Coral Ann "Corky" (Potter) Sheridan and their two children, Joni Sheridan of Maryville, Missouri and James Sheridan of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, along with his daughter in law, Julie and grandson Jacob, also of Tyngsboro, and his brother Gary Sheridan of Cannon Falls, Minnesota. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Jim Sheridan; sisters Vesta Sheridan, Barbara Purdy, and Carolyn Wilmes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, Missouri, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM. Military Rites will follow the services on the ground of the funeral home.
