Ola Mae Roberts, a beloved resident of Skidmore, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, October 18th, 2024, at the age of 65. Born on, February 3rd, 1959, in Chicago, IL, Ola Mae was a wife, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

Ola Mae is survived by her husband, Mark S. Roberts of Skidmore, MO, and her daughter, Shana DeSpain, along with her husband Johnny, of Maryville, MO. She is also survived by her brothers, Jeff Davis (Sandy) of Apache Junction, AZ, Kirby Davis (Becky) of Hopkins, MO, James Willtrout (Tina) of Maryville, MO, and Jack Willtrout (Saun) of Arkoe, MO. Her sister, Nina Beason, (Ron) of Maryville, MO. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Tim, Presten, Luke and Tyler DeSpain, her great grandchildren Sophia, Corbin and Jax DeSpain and numerous nieces and nephews to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence M. and Bonnie May Davis, her son Joshua Cole Masden, her brother Allen Davis, her sisters Kristen Lynch and Bonetta Aley, and her nephew Dennis Meyer.

Ola Mae was a graduate of Maryville High School and spent her career as a dedicated laborer. She worked at King's, the Daily Forum, and Skidmore Food and Drink, and was well-known for running a fireworks tent in Maryville for eight years. Her kindness served her well in all her pursuits. She enjoyed time with her family above all. 

Her life will be celebrated with a visitation at Bram Funeral Home in Maryville, MO, on Thursday, October 24th, 2024, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Arrangements are provided by Bram Funeral Home.

Pallbearers honoring Ola Mae's memory include Jonathon Davis, Wes Parker, Sr., Tim DeSpain, Preston DeSpain, Luke DeSpain, and Ty Willtrout.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, reflecting Ola Mae's giving spirit and care for others.

Ola Mae Roberts will be missed by all who knew her, but her memory will always be held dear by those she leaves behind.
