Linda S. Phillippe

Linda Sue (Allen) Phillippe, 64, of King City, Missouri, passed from this life on Friday, August 2, 2024, at her home with family at her side.

Linda was born in Maryville, Missouri on July 3, 1960, to Harold Leslie and Shirley Mae (Scott) Allen.  She lived in Maryville until moving near King City in 2008.

She graduated from Maryville High School in 1978.  She worked 14 years at Eveready in Maryville, and later started and ran her own graphic and vinyl business near her home.   She was of the Methodist faith.

On July 7, 2001, in Island City, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Charles Lewis “Charlie” Phillippe, he survives of the home.

Her father Harold preceded her in death, as well as her daughter, Jennifer Lynch in 2015, also her brother, Harley Allen, in 2011, and a niece Brenda Michelle Allen, in infancy.

Linda gardened and canned.   She liked to hunt, mow the yard, do crafts and to sew.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her kids, grandkids and family.

She leaves behind her husband, Charlie, her children and step children, Melissa (Tyler) Wheeler, Savannah, Missouri, Chris Phillippe, Cole Camp, Missouri, Rebecca (Casey) Wehmeyer, Jefferson City, Missouri, and Ryan (Casey) Phillippe, St. Joseph, Missouri, her siblings, Bill Allen, Maryville, Missouri, and Lori (Jason) VanFosson, Braddyville, IA, 8 grandchildren, Kelli and Klayton Lynch, Tyler White, Makayla and Macie Wheeler, Brady and Connor Wehmeyer, and Oliver Harrison Phillippe, many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Linda has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home.

Memorial visitation with family and friends will be on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5-7:00 PM, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

She will be buried later at the Meeker Cemetery, Stanberry, Missouri.
