Linda D. Anderson Latta

Linda Darlene (Murphy) Anderson Latta, 76, of Maryville, Missouri, and formerly of Maitland, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Maryville Living Center.

Linda was born in Maryville, Missouri, on October 24, 1948, to Bill Lee and Betty Jean (McGeorge) Murphy. She has lived in the area all her life and graduated from the South Nodaway High School in Barnard.

Linda married David Stanley Anderson on April 27, 1967, and he passed away in August of 2004. Later she married Richard D. Latta, and he passed away in June of 2021.

She had worked as a waitress, and a CNA, and worked as a custodian for many years at Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville.

Linda liked to hunt and fish, she liked horse’s, flea markets and collecting native American artifacts. She enjoyed her family very much, and the card game, Skip Boo. She was a Christian.

Her parents preceded her in death, also her two husbands, David and Richard, her daughter Nancy Casey, her great granddaughter Brielle Leist, her siblings, Kathy Murphy, Larry Murphy, and Beverly Taylor.

She leaves behind her daughter, Stacey (Tim) Wroblewski, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, 4 grandchildren, Trinity (Nick) Huster, Kelsey (Andy) Leist, Ty Anderson (Estellena) Casey, Tanner Dwinell, 4 great grandchildren, Payton Mantz, Cole Mantz, Taelynn Leist, and Kolt Leist. Her siblings, Dennis (Kathy) Murphy, Maitland, Missouri, Gary (Brenda) Murphy, Graham, Missouri, Vicky Pistole, Maryville, Missouri, Marsha (Galen) Gregory, Guilford, Missouri, Kelly Dougherty, Graham,
Missouri, Shelley Bix, Pickering, Missouri, her sister-in-law, Peggy Augustine, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The burial will follow in the Weathermon Cemetery, Guilford, Missouri.

The family will receive friends on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested in Linda’s name to the Activities Department at the Maryville Living Center, Maryville.
