Kenneth Lynn Lee Turner

Kenneth Lynn Lee Turner Sr., 68, of Quitman, MO, passed away at his home in Quitman, MO. On January 26 ^th , 2018.

He was born in Creston, Iowa on March 23, 1949. His parents were Wayne and Uranuia (O’Neill). He was preceded in death by his father and sister and brother in law Sharon and David Johns. Also preceding him in death were two sisters in laws, Becky Turner and Maryann Turner.  He was also proceeded in death by his cousins Danny and Bugsy Turner.

He attended school in Creston, Iowa.

He was an expert at masonry work and took great- pride in his fireplaces.  He was employed by Upsher Laboratories for many years. He was an owner of several properties.

In 1968 Kenneth married Karen Abell, they later divorced.  They have 3 children, Tracy (AJ) Miller, Mount Ayr, Iowa, Tony (Sheena) Turner, Glenwood, Rusty Turner, El Reno, OK.

In 2004 he married Lisa Botts in Skidmore, MO.  They have one son Kenneth Turner Jr., Quitman, MO. He also adopted a son Larry Miller, of Quitman, MO.

His survivors include Lisa of the home, his children, as well as his mother and brothers, Steve Turner, Las Vegas, NV, Denny Turner, Leander, TX, Rodney (Ellen) Turner, Lincoln, NE.  He also is survived by his grandchildren, Kenny Mattson, Stockbridge, GA., Shelby Mullen, Mount Ayr, IA, Stevan Mullen, Manchester, TN., Jessica (Justin) Leisner, Creston, IA, Kendall, Kaden, Kinsley Turner, Glenwood, IA. Great-Grandchildren Peyton Robinson, Mount Ayr, IA, Stevie Kaye Leisner, Creston, IA.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 1 ^st , 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home in Maryville, MO. Burial to follow at the Quitman Cemetery, Quitman, MO.

The family will meet with friends at noon on Thursday, February 1 ^st , 2018.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
