Jean Carolyn Earl

Jean Carolyn Earl, 65, of Maryville, MO, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the KU Medical Center, Kansas City,

Jean was born at the old Sisters Hospital in St. Joseph, MO, on November 5, 1957.  She lived all her life in northwest Missouri.

Her parents were Leslie V. and Maxine L. (Nelson) Lewis and they preceded her in death.  She was also preceded by her son, Jeremy Meyer in 2001, her grandson, Jeffrey Meyer, Jr, her brother, Leslie Lewis Jr.

She received her GED and had taken and passed the electronic class at the Vo-Tech School in Maryville.  She worked in assembly for 26 years at Kawasaki in Maryville, retiring in 2021.  She was a former member of the Eagle’s Lodge, Maryville.

She married Steven E. Earl on August 8, 2008, in Maryville, and he survives of the home.

She is also survived by her children, Michael Lewis, St. Joseph, MO, Jennifer Snyder, St. Joseph, MO, James Meyer, St. Joseph, MO, and Jeffrey Meyer, Kansas City, MO, 2 step children, Dillon Earl, Lebanon, MO, and Brittany Freeman, Murfreesboro, TN, 3 siblings, Donna Brandon, Tecumseh, OK, Harold Lewis, Mound City, MO and Clarence Lewis, Mound City, MO, and her half-brother, Bill Marlotte, St. Paul, VA.  8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.  The burial will follow in the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Bram Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Steve Earl to help with final expenses.
