Golda “Marie” Brown, 83, of Maryville, Mo, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at the Village Care Center in Maryville.
Marie was born on October 23, 1935, in Maryville, MO. Her parents were Milton E. Tillman and Golda Mabel (Carmichael) Tillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant grandchild, her brothers, Marvin and his wife Selma Tillman, Milt Tillman, her sister Fannie Francis, her niece and nephews, Florence Horn, Jeff Francis, Larry Tillman, and her husband Loyd Brown.
Marie was a graduate of Maryville High School. She later graduated from Platt Business College.
She was a member of the Clearmont United Methodist Church.
She married Charles Davison. They later divorced. She later married Loyd Brown.
Marie was a farm wife. On the farm she enjoyed gardening and canning her produce. She was a seamstress and sewed her daughter’s beautiful wedding dress, she also made several baby blankets. She also crocheted. Marie loved to go fishing, as well as sightseeing around the United States.
Marie leaves behind her family that she dearly loved. Children; Lawrence Wayne Davison, of Burlington Junction, MO, Aneta (Dennis) Murphy of Clearmont, MO; her brother Don (Madolyn) Tillman of Belton, MO, sister in law Carolyn Tillman of Independence, MO, and her brother in law Carl Francis, 6 grandchildren; John (Jenny) Davison, Fayette, MO, Megan (Cody) Sprague, Grand Island, NE, Mandy (Dustin) Linebaugh, Powell, WY, Lisa (Ryan) Stahl, Clearmont, MO, Denise (Thomas) Workman, Maryville, MO, and Emily (Shawn) Frueh, Pickering, MO; 15 great grandchildren, Brady, Stetson and Leland Davison, Macy and Kynlee Sprague, Ty, Corey and Shelby Linebaugh, Peyton, Lauren and Charley Stahl, Carson and Henry Workman, and Landon and Jaclyn Frueh, and several nieces and nephews.
Marie’s body have been cremated under the direction of the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home of Maryville.
A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 AM, on July 8, 2019, at the Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville, MO.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to Mosaic Hospice, Maryville, MO.
