Geraldine "Jeri" Patterson

November 2, 1928 — April 23, 2024

Geraldine “Jeri” (Palmer) Patterson, 95, of Stanberry, Missouri and formerly of Maryville, Missouri, passed away in Stanberry on April 23, 2024, with her family at her side.

Jeri was born near Maryville, Missouri, on November 2, 1928, and lived in the area all her life.  Her parents were Theodore F. and Esther (Neidel) Palmer, they preceded her in death.  She was also preceded by her siblings, Mary Louise Reardon, Wilma Maxine Palmer, Marvin E. Palmer, and Wendell F. Palmer.

She attended Central School, a one room schoolhouse near Barnard, Missouri, then graduated in 1946 from Maryville High School.

Jeri worked for 43 years at Citizen’s State Bank, now Bank Midwest, in Maryville, retiring in 1991 as a vice-president.

She was a member and attended the First United Methodist Church, Maryville.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society, and a life member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.  She was a longtime member of NABW, a women’s banking organization.

Jeri enjoyed gardening, crafting, quilting, playing cards, taking short trips, and really enjoyed getting togethers and spending time with her family.

On October 23, 1954, in Maryville, Jeri was united in marriage to Jack Jacob Patterson.  The were married over 50 years before his death in 2005.

She is survived by 8 nephews, and 2 nieces, her brother and sister-in-law, Donald R. (Marilyn) Palmer, and many great nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jeri has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

Memorial graveside services and burial will be at 10:30 AM, on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mosaic Hospice, Maryville, Missouri.
