Forrest Eldon “Frosty” Christian, 75, of Maitland, MO, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Maryville Living Center, Maryville, MO.

Frosty was born in Graham, MO, on May 5, 1941, he lived all his life in the Graham and Maitland, MO area and graduated from the Graham Missouri High School.  He attended the Graham United Methodist Church, and was a Mason with the former Maitland Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Eagles club in Maryville.

His parents were Elva W. and Mary Elizabeth (Hicks) Christian, and preceded him in death.  He was also preceded by his brothers, Elva Lee and George Wayne Christian, his brothers in law Leon Davidson and Wilmer Wolf, and his sisters in law, Debbie Lymer and Shirley Wolf.

Frosty was a truck driver for Davis Fertilizer, Graham, MO, and also drove the school bus for many years for Nodaway-Holt R-VII School District.  He loved to dance, garden, play cards, fish, and being with his family.

On December 2, 1962, Frosty was united in marriage to Cheryl Ann Lymer, in Fillmore, MO.  She survives of the home in Maitland.

Other survivors include his 5 children, Brian Eldon Christian, Maitland, MO, Richard Wayne (Peggy) Christian, Graham, Sheri Lynn (Dale) Grasty, Maitland, Beth Ann (Paul) DeVers, Maitland, and Nicholas Ray (and fiancée Sara) Christian, Unionville, MO; sister, Velma Ruth Davidson, Olathe, KS; sisters and brothers in law, Pat (Don) Mink, Alliance, NE, Francis (Eldon) Troth, Graham, Dorothy (Arnold) Hughes, Rosendale, MO, Judy Davison, St. Joseph, MO, George Lymer, Savannah, MO, and Darlene Christian, Savannah; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, on Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.  Cremation will follow the service and inurnment will be at a later date in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, MO.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to the athletics program at the Nodaway-Holt R-VII High School, Graham.
