Ellis Ray Black

Ellis Ray Black, 75, passed away January 29, 2023 at Sunset Nursing Facility, Maysville, MO.

Ellis was born November 14, 1947, in Kent, Ohio. His parents were Raymond and Carrie Louise (Jones) Black. He was preceded in death by both parents, his 3 brothers Clyde, Clayton, and LeRoy and 3 sisters Norma, Ruby, and Marjorie.

He grew up in Palmyra Township Ohio.

Ellis married Donna Ware in 1974. They later divorced. In 2004 he married Judy Holaday she survives living in Kansas City, MO.

Other survivors includ his two daughters; Cindy Prokipchin of Maryville and Jamie Corcoran, of Kansas City, MO as well as three granddaughters two grandsons and one great grandson.

Memorial services will be held in Newton Falls, Ohio at a later date.
