Diane K. Lierz

Diane Kay (Fisher) Lierz, 61, of Topeka, Kansas, and a former resident of Maryville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at the Midland Care Hospice in Topeka.

Diane was born in Maryville on January 5, 1963, to Kenneth E. and Carolyn D. (Lowry) Fisher.

She graduated from Maryville High School in 1981 and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in International Marketing from Northwest Missouri State University in 1985.  She had lived in Holton, Manhattan, and for many years in Topeka, Kansas.

Diane was a Christian and had been a member of the First Christian Church in Maryville.  She enjoyed reading and, in her youth, had enjoyed weekends and summer vacations at Lake Viking, Gallatin, Missouri.

She had worked in retail management for Walmart.

Her survivors include her parents, Kenneth and Carolyn Fisher, Maryville, Missouri, her brother, Michael (Cheryl) Fisher, Gastonia, North Carolina, and her niece, Lauren Fisher, Raleigh, North Carolina.

Diane has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

Memorial graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, on March 2, 2024, at the Miriam Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri.

No formal visitation is planned.
