Dale E. Shamberger

Dale E. Shamberger, 91, of Maryville, Missouri, passed away at home on January 10, 2025, with family at his side. 

Dale was born on February 24, 1933, at the old St. Francis Hospital in Maryville, to Fred and Roberta (Willhoyte) Shamberger. He served two years in the US Army during the Korean conflict. He returned to farming after his honorable discharge. 

He married Marilyn June McCampbell on June 1, 1960, at the Laura Street Baptist Church in Maryville. They have two children, Lisa R. (Steve) Linville, Burlington Junction, Missouri, and Steven D. (Robin) Shamberger, Graham, Missouri. Also 4 grandsons, Jacob D. Linville, Cody J. Linville, Blake L. (fiancé Morgan) Shamberger, Brice T. (Kayla) Shamberger. 

Dale served on the Nodaway-Holt School Board, Graham Housing Board, Graham Street Fair Board, and REC Board, of Maryville. 

He is also survived by his brother, Don and Marilyn L. Shamberger, and cousins, Bob and Kathy Shamberger, Wellsey, Maine, and Jim Shamberger, Pompano Beach, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The burial will follow in the Miriam Cemetery, also of Maryville. 

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, on Tuesday, at the funeral home. 

Memorials are suggested to Mosaic Hospice, the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.
