Carolyn Kay Wright

Carolyn Kay Wright, 71, of Maryville, MO passed away November 15, 2022, at the Parkdale Manor Nursing Home in Maryville, MO.

Carolyn was born August 14, 1951 in Maryville, MO. Her parents were Eugene Everett Dearmont and Betty Jo (Lininger) Dearmont. They preceded her in death.

Carolyn was a graduate of Fairfax, MO High School. She was a CNA certified nurses assistant. She worked at Maryville Living Center and also Village Care Center. Carolyn also did house cleaning.

She had lived in St. Joseph, MO, Lenexa and Olathe, KS, but most her life was spent in the Northwest Missouri area.

Some of her interests included needlework, crocheting, playing bingo. She also enjoyed watching TV especially WWE wrestling. She was known for feisty attitude.

Carolyn is survived by her two children, Christina Lynn Wright and her friend Robert Culbertson of Maryville and her son Philip Edward Wright of Farmington, MO. She is also survived by her grandchildren Bryan Dieker, Joleen Dieker, Jordan Dieker, and Rachel Shields, and also four other grandchildren. Her two brothers Jeff (Jerri) Dearmont, Skidmore, MO, Eddie (Lydia) Dearmont of Maitland, MO., two sisters Kathy (Terry) Beckett of Easton, MO and Julie Brown of Kearney, MO as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Carolyn has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Carolyn Wright will be held on November 26, 2022, at the Bram Funeral Home Maryville, MO. The service time will be 2:00 PM.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

An inurnment will be held at a later date.

Memorials can be directed to the funeral home to help with her final expenses.
