Betty Lee Kiser

Betty Lee (Mowry) Kiser, 85, of Maryville, MO, passed away peacefully at Maryville Living Center on Thursday, August 31, 2017, surrounded by loving family.

Betty was born April 5, 1932 on the family farm near Graham, MO. Her parents were Leslie Evert Mowry and Opal Lee (Sybert) Mowry. They preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by one sister Beverly.

Betty was united in marriage to Paul R. “Dick” Kiser, on February 14, 1952 in Maryville, MO.

She was a home maker.

Betty is survived by her husband Dick, of Maryville Living Center, her two daughters, Sheila Kiser of Barnard, MO and Sharon (Ben) Espey of Barnard, two brothers Keith (Marlene) Mowry of Severance, KS and Mike Mowry of Fillmore, MO, two grandchildren Jennifer (Spencer) Miller of Barnard, MO, and Jared (Jennifer) Espey of Cole Camp, MO, and six great grandchildren, Sam Jones, Jessica, Wyatt, and Justin Miller, and William and Jolee Espey.

Funeral services for Betty Kiser will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville. Service time will be 2:00 PM.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 also at the funeral home, the time is 6 PM until 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers; memorials can be directed to the Heartland Honor Flight.
