Bennetta M. Davis

Bennetta Mae Davis, 90, of Maryville, MO, formerly of Hopkins, MO passed away September 26, 2023, at Oak Pointe Assisted Living Center in Maryville.

Bennetta was born August 20, 1933, in Braddyville, Iowa. Her parents were Benjamin and Ola Mae (Orme) Ingels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donnis, a son Patrick who died in infancy, and also two brothers: Marvin and Ralph Ingels, and one sister Bertha Miller.

On May 20, 1951, at the Christian Church in Hopkins, MO, Bennetta was united in marriage to Donnis Dean Davis.

She was stay at home mother and farm wife.

Bennetta was a member of the First Chrisian Church, Hopkins.

She enjoyed playing cards, working on puzzles, and going dancing with Donnis.  She also enjoyed working in her garden.

Her survivors include sons Michael (Teresa) Davis of Maryville, Mark (Davine) Davis of Columbia, MO; daughters Donnetta (Roy) James of Grant City, MO, Darla (Larry) Roberts of Hopkins, MO; 10 grandchildren Patricia Davis, Nicholas (Shawna) Davis, Tabrey (Keith) Kimbrough, Kera (Dino) Galanakis, Benjamin Davis, Bryan (Heidi) Davis, Megann (Shaun) Wiederholt, Brent (Megan) Roberts, Cory (Liz) Roberts, and Christina (Trent) Lett; 20 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bennetta has been cremated under the care of the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville, MO.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, October 2, 2023, at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville.  A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
