Lenora Sticken

Lenora "Nellie" Sticken, 74, of Graham, MO passed from this life on Friday, February 19, 2010 at the Golden Living Center, Maryville, MO.

Born on December 25, 1935 in Pollock, MO, she was the daughter of the late Everett J. Lane & Pearl Lota (Reeves).

She was a member of the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville.

She worked as a cook at Northwest Missouri State University, for over 12 years.

She is survived by her husband, Herman J. Sticken; her sons H. John Sticken, Jr., Graham, MO, Everett L. Sticken, Pickering, MO, Larry D. Sticken, Ravenwood, MO, Donald E. Sticken, Maryville, MO, daughter Sherri Volner, Graham, MO; as well as 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Eva Evans, St. Joseph, MO, Jean Bowman, Phoenix, AZ, and Juanita Schultz, Sun City, AZ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Lorraine Hoover, Beatrice Munday, Genevie Wyant, Mary Hoover, Ruth Dunker, Bernard Lane, Norma Lane, and Marshal Lane.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main St., Maryville, MO 64468. Final Resting Place will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M.
