Mary Elizabeth Kral

Mary Elizabeth Thompson Kral, 92, of Sunrise Beach, MO. passed away Tuesday, September 07, 2010, at the Camdenton Windsor Estate Nursing facility in Camdenton, MO.

Mary was born in Hopkins, MO on March 26, 1918, to Charles Albert and Elizabeth Ellen Campbell Thompson. She had resided in Kansas City for many years and moved to Sunrise Beach when she retired. She was a member of the Rosanna Chapter #262, O.E.S.
Mary was a graduate of Hopkins High School in 1937. She worked as a lithograph operator for the Kansas City Star, then for a lightning rod company, and Crown Drug. She had done some modeling for Macy’s and the Jones Store, and retired as a clerk from J&G Market, all of Kansas City, MO.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her son Craig, who was killed in Vietnam on February 12, 1968, and by her sister Margaret Alexander, and brother, Harland Thompson. She married Glen Kral in 1988, he passed away in 2007.
Mary is survived by numerous friends and family members who loved her dearly.

Graveside services and interment will be on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11:00 A.M., at the Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins, MO. The Rev. Laura Sauvage will officiate. No formal visitation is planned.
