Idalee L Brown

Idalee L. Loutzenhiser Brown 88, of Maryville, MO, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Village Care Center, Maryville.

Born on April 22, 1922 in Blockton, IA, she lived in Michigan, Mississippi, Oregon, Arizona, and Missouri. She graduated from Western Michigan University, and taught Home Economics in Alpena, Michigan for many years.

She was a wonderful aunt, avid gardener, super golfer, and a terrific friend.

Idalee was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Brown, her parents, two brothers, a sister, as well as several nephews and nieces.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Loutzenhiser, of Villisca, IA, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Mrs. Brown has been cremated. Memorial graveside service, 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 5, 2010, at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Blockton, IA. Rev. Scott Marcum will be the officiant.
