Skidmore - Raymond E. "Ray" Mick, 71, of Skidmore, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the St. Francis Hospital.

Born on May 11, 1936 in Coin, Iowa he was the son of the late Hilton Mick & Edna (Hall) Crabbs.

He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Air force. He was a retired employee from Energizer and was formerly a truck driver.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Marian M. (Parrott) Mick, whom he married on October 11, 1958, loving children, Shelly Russell, Maitland, MO, Shellia Culp, Bedford, IA, Derry Mick, Sheridan, MO, Corey Everhart, Hopkins, MO, Dorry Florea, Maryville, Marla Messner, Graham, MO, Melani Roberts, Skidmore, sisters, Dorothy Hartman, Yorktown, IA, Pearl Lilly, Kansas City, MO, brother, Allen Mick, Shenandoah, IA, step-mother, Dorothy Mick, Savannah, MO, several half-brothers and half-sisters, 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandaughter, Dara Mick, sister, Helen Hayes, brother, Francis Mick.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore, MO with the Rev. Paul McKim, Officiating with military honors under the auspices of the Missouri Military Funeral Honors Program.

The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri on Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. Friends may call anytime after 9 A.M. on Sunday.
