Graham - Mary Catherine Davis, 89, of Graham, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Heartland Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 13, 1918 at Maitland, Missouri the daughter of Arthur Lee and Laura Dovell Armentrout. She attended and graduated from New Point, Missouri Schools. She was a rural school teacher in Holt County.

She was united in marriage on April 30, 1939 at Ravenwood Methodist Church to the late Earl Andrew Davis whom passed on September 26, 2006. To this union four children were born. She was a member of the Graham United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She served the church and the UMW in many offices. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 402, Skidmore, of which she served in many offices including Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Graham Progressive Club, the Jolly Mixers Club and the Graham Community Betterment and was a leader in the 4-H club.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl, a son-in-law Charles Douglas Johnson, two brother-in-laws Leonard Cassell and Albert Zapf, and a sister-in-law Leta Zapf.

Left to survive her passing includes her two daughters, Rosalea Johnson, Graham, & Geneva Lou Tubbs and husband, Donald of Bigelow, MO, her twin sons, Dr. Larry Andrew Davis and wife Cindy, Granite City, IL, & Dr. Gary Authur Davis and wife, Sherri of Omaha, NE, two sisters, Dorothy Dallmann of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Georgia Cassell, St. Joseph, twelve grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468, with the Rev. Connie Ury, Officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Friends may call after 9 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may made to the Graham United Methodist Church.
