Roberta Logan

Roberta Logan 93, of Graham, MO passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Parkdale Manor Nursing Home, Maryville, MO.

Roberta was born on November 27, 1916 near Graham, MO, to William Robert and Myrtle Blanche Helzer Medsker. She was a lifelong resident of the area, and graduated from Graham High School. She was a member of the Graham United Methodist Church.

Roberta married William Allison Logan in St. Joseph, MO., and they made their home on a farm east of Graham. She was a house wife, a farm wife, enjoyed producing a large garden, and was feeding cattle well into her 80’s.

She was preceded in death by her husband on June 29, 1988. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Donald Medsker, Eldon Medsker, Helen Logsdon, Homer Medsker, and Evonne Holmes. Also preceded by a grandson, Mitchell Bare in 2006, and a son-in-law, Bill Alloway, in 2009.

Roberta is survived by her children, Mary Anne Bare, Graham, MO., David (Sharon) Logan, Fillmore, MO., Billie Jean (Roger) Anderson, Graham, MO., and Carol Sue Alloway, Graham, MO. Also survived by her sisters, Barbara Sloan, Leavenworth, KS., and Gail (Ray) Miller, Lansing, KS., and by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. Burial will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham, MO. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until service time, Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church, Graham, MO.
