Sharon Kay Riggs

Sharon Kay Riggs 51, of Maryville, MO, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the Village Care Center in Maryville.

Sharon was born on May 4, 1959 in Trenton, MO, to Harold and Norma Lee Brown Riggs. A former resident of Mississippi, she had resided in Maryville for the past 10 years. Her father preceded her in death. She was of the Baptist Faith.

Sharon had worked for CMC Maryville LLC, and was formerly with Energizer, also of Maryville.

Survivors include two sons, Shawn Riggs, Maryville, MO, and Kyle (Marissa) Miller, Ravenwood, MO, her mother, Norma Lee Hamon, and step-father, Kenny Hamon, both of Trenton, MO, two brothers, Danny Groves, Trenton, MO, and Randy Groves, Grain Valley, MO. She is also survived by two grandchildren, and numerous aunt, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside service and burial will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood, MO, Charles Bottiger will be the Minister. No formal visitation is planned.
