Veda Earlene Beggs Oliver

Maryville - Veda E. Beggs Oliver, 91, of Maryville, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Village Care Center, Maryville.

She was born on April 3, 1915 in Barnard, Missouri to the late Edward M. & Laura (Wilson) Goforth. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert Beggs & Henry Oliver.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Stanberry.

She was the owner and operator of Beggs Fabric in Stanberry for many years.

She is survived by her loving children, daughters, Mary Lou Phillippee and husband, Norvin, Joplin, MO, Betty Jean Carroll, Maryville, Rita Ann Allnutt and husband, Dick, Joplin, MO, sons, Robert Dean Beggs and wife Sandy, Wellington, KS, & Gary Edward Beggs, and wife Melody, Smithville, MO, 14 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands she is preceded in death by daughter, Janet Sue Beggs, sister Velma Jones, brothers Orville, Byrl, & Lowell Goforth.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468. Final Resting Place will be in the Weathermon Cemetery, Guilford.
