Maryville - Jason Andrew Ternus, 35, was welcomed into his heavenly home on Monday, May 17, 2010 at the St. Francis Hospital, Maryville.
Jason was born in Omaha, NE on November 14, 1974 to Gerald E. & Mary J. (Brandl) Ternus. He graduated from Seward High School (Seward, NE) in 1993, and earned a Bachelor of Science from NWMSU in Wildlife, Ecology & Conservation in 1998.
He worked as a Night Stockman at Wal-Mart for the past two years, and was employed with Nodaway County Services for 11 years prior.
Jason married Dana J. (Schulz) on June 28, 1998 in Seward, NE.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Maryville. He was an adult leader on numerous Youth Mission Trips with the First United Methodist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman & photographer, and also enjoyed conducting "Cooking Experiments".
He is survived by his wife Dana Ternus; daughters Payton & Jillian, and son Quentin; his parents; a sister Robyn & Sam Pane, Omaha, NE; a paternal grandmother Lillian Fischer Ternus, Columbus, NE; sisters-in-law Jacquelyn Leising, CA; Rachael & Derek Albrecht, CA; Laura Schulz & husband Justin Van Derslice, Seward, NE, 8 nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church, Maryville. There will be an afternoon visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the service, at the First United Methodist Church.
Memorial donations may be made to the Dana Ternus Donation Fund that has been established at the US Bank, 1621 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO. 64468
