Stephen Allen Sportsman

Graham - Stephen Allen Sportsman, age 52, of Graham, passed away on Monday, October 16th, 2006 , Heartland Regional Medical Center of Heart Failure.

Born on April 14, 1954 in Mound City, Missouri he was the son of the late Ermal "Junior" Sportsman, Jr., who passed on March 26, 2006 and Wilda Joan (Johnson) Sportsman of Graham, MO.

He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He attended Union Church, Graham, MO
He was previously employed for 22 years with Energizer.

In addition to his mother he is survived by a son, Christopher S. Sportsman and Pamela, of Graham, five loving brothers and sisters, Sandy Kaufman, Orange, TX, Sue Kline and husband Doug,Maitland, Stan Sportsman and wife Cathy, Graham, Stoney Sportsman and wife Susan, Lake Charles, LA, Sherri Sportsman, Kansas City, MO, two grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Hope Renee Sportsman in 1995.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468. Final Resting Place, Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham.
