William (Bill) Davis Jr., 62 of Maryville passed away Saturday November 20, 2010 at his home.

He was born on September 10, 1948 in Maryville, MO, to William Davis Sr., and Thelma Vollnogel Davis, they preceded him in death.

Mr. Davis proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, serving from September 1966 to February 1969. He received the Purple Heart medal from injuries suffered there.

Bill was most recently employed by Federal Mogul in Maryville, MO and retired after becoming disabled.

Bill married Leslie Ann Morrow on January 26, 1980 in Maryville, MO, and she survives of the home. Other survivors include, Son, Wiley Davis of Maryville, MO, daughters Ardis DelaRiva of Alameda California, Tiffany (Tony) Rowlett of Maryville, MO, Sommer (Keith) Thompson of Bolckow, MO, Chantal (fiance Chris Diekmann) Davis of Maryville, MO. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Michael DelaRiva, and Kayla Strouse, of Alameda CA, Johnathan Rowlett of Maryville MO, Liberty Thompson, and Rex Thompson, of Bolckow, MO, brothers Larry (Elizabeth) Davis of El Paso, TX, Gary Davis of Medford, OR, and by sisters Ilene (Dave) Lockhart of Reno, NV, and Shona (Don) Brooks of White City, OR.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville. The burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville. The visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday November 26, 2010 at the funeral home. Military rites will be preformed at the cemetery.
