Stormy Lee Lovitt

On Oct, 12, 2010 Stormy Lee Lovitt went home to be with her heavenly Father.

The daughter of Russell and Elaine Lovitt and Mary Slane, Stormy was born on September, 16, 1964, in Thermopolis, WY. She had resided in northwest Missouri since 1975.

Stormy was a Custodial Supervisor at Northwest Missouri State University for many years and was of the Christian Faith.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Priscilla D. Pankau on October 2, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Orville and Lillian Lovitt, and by her maternal grandparents, Jim and Priscilla Brown.

Survivors include her parents, Russell and Elaine Lovitt, California, MO; and Mary Slane, Hawthorne , NE. Her daughter, Winter Owens, Burlington Junction, MO; three brothers, Michael Lovitt, NV, Dale (Kristen) Ling, Lincoln, NE, Tim Ling, California, MO., her longtime companion Wendell Parker, Maitland, MO., and by several aunts, cousins, nieces, a nephew, and a great-niece. She is also survived by her granddog LuLu, and by her many Northwest Missouri State University friends and family.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville. Burial will be in the Foster Cemetery, New Hampton, MO. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be given to her daughter Winter Owens, for a memorial to be determined, and can be left at the funeral home.
