Larry Nelson Cruth

Barnard - Larry Nelson Cruth, 62, of Barnard, MO passed from this life on Monday, January 18, 2010 at his residence.

Born on January 24, 1947 in Maryville, he was the son of the late Everett & Emogene (Strickland) Cruth.

He married Cheryl (Sullivan) Cruth on August 18, 1973 in Conception Junction, MO.

Mr. Cruth was a member of the U.S. Navy and was in the Vietnam War, and after his time spent active, was a member of the U.S. Navy Seabees.

He was of the Baptist Faith, and was also a member of the American Legion Post #102, Barnard, MO.

He reitred after many years from the Missouri Department of Transportation, last year.

He is survived by his devoted wife Cheryl; a daughter Amber Cruth-Rector, and husband Adam, Nashville, TN; and son Matthew Cruth and Nadia Morales, Kansas City, MO.

Mr. Cruth is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Donna Dougan.

Funeral Servcies will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468. Final Resting Place will be in the Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, from 6 to 8 P.M.
