Maryville - Brenda Barbara Scott, 49, of Maryville, MO passed from this life on Sunday, April 4, 2010, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph, MO.

She was born in Wayne, NE on August, 6, 1960 to Delano & Bernella (Perk) Simmons.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the St. Gregory's Catholic Church.

She married Geoffrey Robert Scott on March 9, 1995 in Maryville, MO.

She is survived by her loving husband, Geoffrey; her devoted children, Jason Laws, Maryville; Tiffany Laws, Maryville; Jennifer Tennihill, Alabama; and Kimberly Tennihill, St. Joseph; her mother Bernella Simmons, Maryville, a sister Mary Simmons, Maryville, a nephew Bradley Simmons, Cape Girardeau, MO, and numerous aunts & uncles.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father Delano Simmons, and grandparents, Calvin & Buelah Simmons, and Joseph & Frances Perk.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the St. Gregory's Catholic Church, Maryville, MO. Final Resting Place will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery. There will be an evening visitation from 6 to 7 P.M., on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at the St. Gregory's Catholic Church.
