Roger Lee Watkins

Roger Lee Watkins 51, of Maryville, MO passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, MO, following a lengthy illness.

Born on July 6, 1958 in Maryville, Roger lived in Indianapolis, IN, for many years before returning to Maryville in 2009. He worked as a salesman for a glass company in Indianapolis.

Roger was a graduate of Maryville High School. He had attended N.W.M.S.U., and the First Christian Church, both of Maryville. He was a former Eagle Scout of Troop 74.

Roger was preceded in death by his grandparents, a brother Ronald E. Watkins in 2007, and his mother Coeta J. Conrad Watkins on April 1, 2009.

Survivors include his father, Doyle E. Watkins, Maryville, MO. His brother, Robert C. (Gail) Watkins, Jefferson City, MO. His niece, Kelli Watkins, Jefferson City, MO. and his nephew, Johnathan David Watkins, Kansas City, MO.

Roger has been cremated. Memorial graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville, MO. No formal visitation is planned.
