Harold Leslie Hill

Mr. Harold Leslie Hill 79, of Barnard, MO, passed away unexpectantly Friday, April 23, 2010 at the St. Francis Hospital in Maryville, MO. Born on December 18, 1930 in Tarkio, MO. he resided most of his life in northwest Missouri.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey H., and Anna M. Smith Hill, and by one brother and four sisters.

Harold and Yvonne L. Blair were married in Maryville, MO, on December 18, 1954. Yvonne passed away on December 29, 1999.

A self employed soil conservation contractor, Harold had owned and operated his own dozing business, Harold L. Hill & Sons, for many years, retiring in 2001. Harold served his country in U.S. Navy, and the U. S. Army. He was of the protestant faith.

Left to mourn his passing are his children, Marty L. Hill, Platte City, MO, Carol A. Kamtz. Liberty, MO, Sonja L. Wilmes, Maryville, MO, Leslie D. Hill, Maryville, MO, Becky A. Goodwin, Hollister, MO, and Bobbie L. Ciemiega, Platte City, MO. Harold is also survived by his sister, Gladys Williamson, Portland, OR, and by 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Mr. Hill’s body has been cremated. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Home Cemetery, Tarkio, MO. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231
