Maryville - Thomas A. Coy, 86, of Maryville, passed from this life on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Beverly Health Care Center, Maryville.

Born on October 9, 1919 in Gainesville, Missouri he was the son of the late Francis Marion & Edna Arizona (Laupurn) Coy.

He was of the Baptist Faith.
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during WW II.
He was employed at Maryville Typewriter Exchange for over 33 years.

He was a member of the James Edward Gray American Legion Post 100 & the VFW

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Helen Fern (Landers) Coy whom he married in Kansas City, Missouri on February 4, 1946, three children, Gary F. Coy and wife Latkana, St. Joseph, MO, Thomas Glenn Coy, Maryville & Janet L. Coy and husband Russ Bourquein, Houston, TX . Six Grandchildren & Five Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468 with the Rev. Paul McKim, Officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville with Military Honors.
