Irene Katherine Rowlette

Irene Katherine Rowlette, 82, of St. Joseph and formerly of Maitland, passed from this life on, Thursday, December 22, 2005 at the Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Born on February 9, 1923 in Fortescue, MO she was the daughter of the late Herbert & Ruby (Robinson) Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loren "Max" Rowlette in 2001.

She was a member of the Maitland Christian Church. She was a member of the Maitland American Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years.

She was a secretary for the Nodaway-Holt High School for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea L. Carr and husband Jon, St. Joseph, MO, daughter-in-law, Darla R. Rowlette, Savannah, MO, sisters, Lorene Miles, St. Joseph, Wilma Jean Miles, Maitland, Ray D. Miller, Leavenworth, KS, Glenn A. Miller, Kansas City, MO She is survived by six grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Gary E. Rowlette, brother, Herbert Miller, sisters, Helen Hayden & Mildred Weston and a great grandson, Robert Fierros.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, December 26, 2005 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, Missouri 64468. There will be no evening visitation however the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. on Monday. Final Resting Place, Maitland Cemetery, Maitland, MO.
