Ravenwood - Bob Wesley Palmer, 44, of Ravenwood, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at the St. Francis Hospital.

Born on June 15, 1964 in St. Joseph, Missouri he was the son of Paul W. & Betty Marie (Ray) Palmer of Pickering, Missouri.

He was a member of the Countryside Christian Church & Ravenwood Christian Church. He was a drummer with "Black Label Band" and the "Ravenwood Barn Door Opry". He was an avid knife maker.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his devoted wife whom he married on June 9, 1990, Terri Renee (Summa) Palmer, a brother, Brian Palmer, Maryville, mother and father in law, Vern & Evelyn Summa, brother & sister in law, Paul Stiens, Jr. and wife Brenda, Maryville, nephews, Jeremy, Kyle, Logan Stiens and a niece Katelyn Stiens, 3 great nephews, & 1 great niece. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Anna Palmer, George & Edna Ray.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Countryside Christian Church, Maryville. Final Resting Place will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ravenwood. The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
