Helen Delores Hayden

Helen Delores Hayden, 73, of Platte City, formerly of Maitland, MO, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the Overland Park Regional Hospital after a long illness.
She was born on November 10, 1931 in Lansing, KS and was the daughter of the late Herbert & Ruby (Robinson) Miller.
She was a member of the Maitland Christian Church. A 50 Year member of the Women's Auxiliary of Maitland. She and her three sisters sang together and were invited to sing on the Lawrence Welk Show. Helen had visited the Hawaiian Islands and enjoyed the trip.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" M. Hayden, whom she married on April 27, 1977 in St. Joseph, MO, three sisters, Irene Rowlette & Wilma Jean Miles and her husband, Leon, all of Maitland, Lorene Miles, St. Joseph, brothers, Ray D. Miller and wife Gail, Lansing, KS, Glenn A Miller and wife, Pam, Kansas City, MO. She is survived by many nieces & nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mildred Weston and brother, Herbert L. Miller.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Monday, March 7, 2005 at the Maitland Christian Church, 117 N. 4th Street, Maitland, MO 64466 with the Rev. Bill Gazaway, Officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the Maitland Cemetery. The family will have their meal prior to services at 11 A.M. on Monday at the Community Building, Maitland.
The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO on Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M. and one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. The family request that memorial donations be made the Maitland Christian Church.
