Joyce Ann Zook

Maryville- Joyce Ann Zook, 69, of Maryville, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at the Heartland Regional Hospital.

Born in Milford, Iowa she was the daughter of the late Grey & Mary (Eckard) Smitley.

She was a homemaker and she had worked for Energizer Battery for 22 years.

She was of the Protestant faith.

She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary & the J. Edward Gray American Legion Post 100, Maryville Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband Charles A. Zook, whom she married on October 15, 2000 in Maryville, daughters, Deborah Pace, Bedford, Iowa, Diana Rewekant, Cape Coral, FL, Darla Burgher, Maryville, sons, Douglas Chesnut, Bedford, Iowa, David Chesnut, Bonne Terre, MO, stepdaughter, Rhonda McKinney, Maryville, stepsons Charles Zook, St. Joseph, MO & Ronald Zook, St. Mary's, Iowa, sisters, Judy Woodworth, Lead, SD, Jeanne Thompson, Spirit Lake, Iowa, brother Ronald Smitley, Fredericksburg, Iowa is survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren & 12 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Junior Chesnut.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 24, 2004 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 with the Rev. Ross Fulton, Jr. Officiating. Final resting place will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Maryville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M.
