Russell Henry Earl

Mr. Russell H. Earl, age 63, of Maryville, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at Living Communities of St. Joseph, St. Joseph, MO. Born on September 23, 1941 in Springfield, IL to the late Herbert & Nora (Filkin) Earl. He was of the Protestant Faith. He had worked for 20 years with the Illinois Dept. of Revenue. He served a brief time in the U.S. Marine Corp His hobby was wood working. He is survived by two sons, Steven E. Earl & Russel J. Earl both of Barnard, MO, one daughter, April L. Glass, Des Moines, Iowa, two sisters, Janet Esper, Springfield, IL, Margaret Klunick, Decatur, IL, three brothers, Donnie & Thomas Earl of Springfield, IL., and Jack Earl. He is survived by seven grandchildren In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Chuck, Billy, Joe Ed and Clarence Earl and a sister, Lula Mae Earl. A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2 P.M. on Monday, November 29, 2004 at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 with the Rev. Greg J. Temke, Officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12 noon to 2 P.M. The family has requested the omission of flowers and that memorial donations be made to the son Russel J. Earl, in care of the funeral home address.
