Don G. Allen

Maryville - Don G. Allen, 75, of Maryville, passed from this life on Monday, December 20, 2004 at the Beverly Health Care, Maryville.

Born on November 1, 1929 in Maryville, he was the son of the late Claude & Elsie (Newcomer) Allen.
He was of the Protestant Faith.
He was a retired self-employed truck driver.

He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of VFW, D.A.V. & the J. Edward Gray American Legion Post 100, Maryville.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma J. Allen, whom he married on June 9, 1951 in Battle Creek, MI, daughters, Donita Sunderland, St. Joseph, Cindy Jordan, Craig, MO, two sons, Terry Allen and David Allen both of Maryville, a sister, Joyce Cronk, Arkoe, MO. He is survived by 8 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Tanner Bleazard.

Memorial Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, December 23, 2004 at Weathermon Cemetery, Guilford, Missouri. with Rev. Greg J. Temke officiating. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M.

The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship at the Community of Faith Church, 921 E. 3rd St., Maryville, MO following the graveside services.
