Donnie Dean Mccrary, Jr

Donald Dean McCrary, Jr. 39, Conception Junction, MO. Passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 at his home. Born August 21, 1967 in Maryville, MO, he had lived most of his life in Conception Junction. Donnie graduated Jefferson High School in Conception Junction in 1985 and was a Press Operator at The Printery House in Conception, MO, retiring after 18 years due to ill health. Donnie was a U.S. Army veteran from 1985 to 1988 and spent 18 months in Germany. He was honorable discharged as a E-5 Sergeant.

Donnie attended St. Columba Catholic Church. He was a Member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post #464 , all of Conception Junction, MO. He was a Volunteer Firefighter with the Tri-C Fire Dept. Conception Jct. And was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and had helped with the cleanup of the Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.

Donnie loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, golf and playing softball.

Donnie is survived by his parents: Donald D. and Kathleen M. Schieber McCrary, Sr. Conception Junction, MO. 2 Daughters: Ashlie J. and Hailie J. McCrary, Savannah, MO. 2 Brothers: Matt McCrary and Rick McCrary, both of Conception Junction, MO. 3 Sisters: Heather Simmerman, Stanberry, MO. Barb McCrary and Brenda Harwell both of Omaha, NE. 3 God children, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Donnie is preceded in death by his grandparents.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Columba Catholic Church Conception Junction, MO. Burial will be in the St. Columba Cemetery, Conception, MO. The rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Church. Military Rites at the Cemetery under the auspices of the American Legion Post #464, Conception Junction, MO. The Bram Funeral Home of Maryville, Inc. is charge of arrangements.
