James Eugene Dragoo

Burlington Junction - James Eugene Dragoo, 59, of Burlington Junction, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 17, 2008.

Born on May 4, 1949 he was the son of the late Byron E. & Mary J. (Dewyre) Dragoo.
He was a 1967 graduate of West Nodaway and was employed with NSK-AKS and was formerly employed with Boyles Motors.

He was a Veteran serving in the US Army where he received numerous medals and was a member of the Rolla Dicks American Legion Post 315, Burlington Junction.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheryl Renee (Williamson) Dragoo whom he married on October 21, 1977, loving children, Byron Paul Dragoo and wife Michelle of Savannah and Luke Alan Dragoo and wife Melissa, Roanoke, VA, brother, John K. Dragoo and sister, Betty J. Dragoo both of Burlington Junction, grandchildren, Taylor, Skylynn, Jaiden and Alayna Dragoo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 22, 2008 at the First Christian Church of Burlington Junction with the Rev. Matt Limback, Officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Junction with military honors. There will be no evening viewing or visitation however the family will receive friends at the church from 9 to 10 A.M., Monday. Memorial donations may be made to the Rolla Dicks American Legion Post 315.
