Jerry Kent Davis

Skidmore - Jerry K. Davis, 67, of Skidmore, passed from this life on, Monday, August 8, 2005 at his home.

Born near Rosendale, MO on August 8, 1938, he was the son of the late Richard H. "Bill" & Lois Edna (Kent) Davis.

He had served six years in the Army National Guard.
He was a self-employed farmer.
He was a member of the Graham Union Church and is a believer in Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife whom he married on April 16, 1965 in Bolckow, MO Carol Elaine (Stephens) Davis of the home, his children, Stephen W. Rosebohm, Albany, MO, Lynda K. Goodwin, Parkville, MO, & Alice J. Meadows and her husband, Kipp, Maitland, MO, brother, Dahlman J. Davis, Odessa, MO, grandchildren, Stephanie K. Goodwin & Andrea F. Goodwin both of Parkville, MO, Justin K. Stiens & Eddie C. Stiens both of Maitland, mother-in-law, Alma F. Stephens, Maryville, MO, brother-in-law, Ronnie L. Stephens and his wife Rosie, sister-in-laws, Norma J. McCall, Shirley M. Hamilton and her husband, Orville and Kathy A. Cochran and her husband, Don all of Kansas City, MO, he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Jim Long & Rev. Robert Bowers, Officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Graham. The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Friends may call at the funeral home anytime after 1 P.M. on Wednesday. The family has requested the memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Graham Union Church or SSM Hospice of Maryville.
