Skidmore - Eli Russell Stiens, 19, of Skidmore, passed from this life on Monday, July 21, 2008.

He was born in Fairfax, MO on July 30, 1988 to Stephen & Susan (Meyer) Stiens.

He was of the Protestant Faith and worked in construction and was a 2007 graduate of Nodaway-Holt where he was a member of the F.F.A.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings, Matt Stiens and wife Janet, Maryville, Monica Lally and husband Bob, Omaha, NE, Levi Stiens, St. Joseph, Travis Stiens and wife Angie, Atlanta, GA, Lisa Youse and husband Clint, Emden, MO, Khrystyne Stiens, Skidmore, MO, girlfriend, Ashley Kennedy, Rosendale, MO, paternal grandparents, Robert & Dorothy Stiens, Maryville, nieces and nephews, Jillian Stiens, Rebecca Stiens, Megan Lally, Ashlyn Lally, Aubrey Youse, and Michael Clements. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Evelyn Meyer.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Burr Oak United Methodist Church, Skidmore, MO. Final Resting Place will be in the Burr Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. The family has requested memorial donations to be made to the family.
