Olen Otto Plymell

Burlington Junction - Olen Otto Plymell, 92, of Burlington Junction, Missouri, passed from this life on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Golden Living Center, Maryville.

Born on December 29, 1916 in McFall, Missouri he was the son of William Orville & Nora Grace (Culver) Plymell.

He was of the Methodist Faith and worked most of his life as a farmer. In later years he retired from the St. Francis Hospital.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lodema Iona (Brownfield) Plymell, whom he married on June 13, 1938 in Rockport, MO, loving children, Rex H. Plymell, Burlington Junction, Juanita Carroll, College Springs, IA, Linda G. Baker, Maryville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Ilene Yates, brother, Dale Plymell, sisters, Wilma Nelson, Ada Walker, a grandson, Russell Graham.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Burlington Junction United Methodist Church. Final Resting Place will be in the Ohio Cemetery, Burlington. The family will receive friends at the Danfelt Funeral Home, 951 S. Main Street, Maryville, MO 64468 on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to the Burlington Junction U.M.C. or the Ohio Cemetery.
