Mary Jane Dragoo

Burlington Junction, MO - Mary Jane Dragoo, 87, of Burlington Junction, MO passed from this life on Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Community Hospital of Fairfax.

Born on March 18, 1921 in Burlington Junction, Missouri she was the daughter of the late Charles & Alta (Hamilton) Dewyre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron E. Dragoo on August 9, 1964.

She was a retired employee of Northwest Missouri State University and a member of the First Christian Church of Burlington Junction, Burlington Junction American Legion Post 315 Auxiliary and the Golden Key Club.

She is survived by her devoted children, James Dragoo and wife Sheryl, Burlington Junction, John Dragoo, Burlington Junction and Betty J. Dragoo, of Burlington Junction, MO, a sister, Florence Adams, Norwalk, Iowa and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, George Dewyre and Charles Dewyre.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. at the First Christian Church of Burlington Junction on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 with the Rev. Matt Limback, Officiating. Final Resting Place will be in the Ohio Cemetery.
There will be no evening visitation or viewing however the family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 9 to 10 A.M. Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church of Burlington Junction or the Community Hospital of Fairfax.
